[Durham INC] New from the Rev-elution

I apologize for letting my frustration get the better of me.  


As long as Carl Kenney has the megaphone it truly is a waste of time, newsprint, blood, sweat and tears to change ANYTHING with regard to racism in Durham.    It was merely a few weeks ago when Carl was asked how many white people not crossing the street would it take for him to get off the race bandwagon.  You can check the archives for his response... Carl said, " This's [sic] my may be hard for you to hear, but since you asked the question, there will NEVER be enough white people... Too much damage has been done, and, no matter how many walk with me, there are ten for every one working against me."  and later he said.... " I’m willing to sacrifice it all for my brothers and sisters who suffer due to the way they are viewed. .....Even if it means I die."

Give the megaphone to any one of the hundreds of successful black men in this town and then maybe we'll get somewhere with changing the bus system.  But as long as Carl Kenney runs the show, it will NEVER change.  Kenney will run it into the ground "even if it means I die".  Carl will NEVER get off the race bandwagon.  

I'm sick to death of the racist remarks from Carl Kenney.

When we get on the bus we could all sing "Feelings" together to help them "feel" better when they see all those streams of wealthy "whites who have it all" loading onto the bus?


Carl's plan is to give a cheering section to "animated" whining black men who "can't make it" 
in this world because the white man has it all.  Just what we need to attract wealthy people to the bus!

So, lead the way goldenbelt.historicdistrict at gmail.com.  Make us talk about this.  In the meantime, I'm still riding and listening.  Some of what I hear is hard to digest.  There's work to be done beyond what takes place on the bus.
