I agree with you will. If you want to run for office you should be prepared to state positions on important issues. Most especially those that are divisive and contested. To dodge and evade does not inspire confidence in how one will make political choices or handle conflict. I don't know Omar, but his (lack of) position on this issue leaves me cold. 

I will not be voting for him.
