	Triangle Wildlife Rehabilitation Clinic Closes

	Triangle Wildlife Rehabilitation Clinic (TWRC) closed the Seaton Road location in December 2012. We no longer were able to operate from the existing building for reasons beyond our control.

	 We have been struggling to keep volunteers and funding flowing at a pace that keeps up with the patient load of the hospital. TWRC admitted over 2,100 wildlife patients in 2012. Although the patient load continues to increase each year, financial and volunteer support has not increased correspondingly.

	A meeting will be held on Sunday, February 10th to determine if TWRC has or will have sufficient volunteer and financial support to continue its mission. It takes more than a handful of dedicated people to make this work. It takes an entire village. Join us if you wish to become a sustaining member of TWRC.

	The meeting’s agenda includes the formation of committees that can help make reopening of TWRC a reality. Over 2,100 injured and orphaned wildlife patients need your help annually.

	If you are dedicated to having a wildlife clinic in the Triangle area, your help is essential in recruiting volunteers, procuring financial support, and finding a new location for the hospital.

	If you are unable to attend the meeting but wish to support the wildlife center, please go to the TWRC website www.trianglewildlife.org to contribute.
