[Durham INC] Illegal Notice

Hello Mr. King,

As President of the InterNeighborhood Council of Durham, I met personally with you last year about the illegal notices that letter carriers in East Durham are leaving for customers.  These illegal notices attempt to trick customers into replacing porch mail boxes with curbside boxes.  You promised at that time to stop the distribution of these notices.  

Another new resident of East Durham, Mr. Brett Fox of 106 N. Driver St., received one of these unsigned letters today, February 11, 2013.

It is certainly annoying, to say nothing more, that this behavior continues.  Would you please respond to this email, telling Mr. Fox that his porch mailbox is sufficient, and would you please inform the carrier who delivered this that such unauthorized letters are not tolerated?

I am attaching a picture of the illegal notice.  Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
