Full Frame encompasses a number of downtown Durham locations- the historic Carolina Theatre, the Durham Arts Council, Durham Convention Center, and Durham Central Park. The festival fosters community and conversation between filmmakers, film professionals and the public.

LAST MINUTE LINE – The Last Minute Line is the designated line at each venue where people without tickets wait to see if there are any available seats after passholders and ticket holders have been seated. Last Minute tickets are $15 for films and $10 for Sunday Encores (CASH ONLY).

DO YOU SHOW FILMS MORE THAN ONCE? Films are only scheduled once during the festival. However, a handful of films (mostly festival award winners) will have an encore screening on Sunday afternoon.

WHEN DO YOU ANNOUNCE THE SUNDAY ENCORE SCREENINGS? Award winners are announced Sunday afternoon at the conclusion of the Awards Barbecue (around 1pm). Other encore screenings will be announced during the festival.

CAN I GET INTO A SOLD OUT SHOW? It’s possible. Some seats become available at the last minute. Try the Last Minute Line at the event venues. Last Minute tickets are $15 for films and $10 for Sunday Encores (CASH ONLY).

HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE? If you have a ticket, seating begins 30 minutes prior to showtime. Many programs sell out, so we encourage everyone to purchase a ticket in advance.

CONVERSATIONS – Full Frame’s slate of panels, workshops and demonstrations, the Conversations program also includes the Garrett Scott Documentary Grant presentation and works-in-progress programs.

> DURHAM STORIES: WHO ARE OUR NEIGHBORS?
> A Photo Exhibit by Titus Brooks Heagins
>
> Durham Stories is a series of portraits of mostly East Durham residents. In an area largely skipped over by the insurgence of money, new development, and the rising social status of the city’s inhabitants, this community struggles along with an increasingly negative reputation for street walkers, drug dealers and users, store front churches, and an unending supply of the dispossessed.
>
> For over five years, photographer Titus Brooks Heagins has wandered these streets photographing people as he finds them. They don’t pose; he doesn’t ask them to change anything. Standing where he finds them, they declare with their eyes, posture, and expression, “This is who I am.” These close-up portraits reveal the truth of who they are—their joy, pain, victories, and defeats. The photographs, mostly printed 40x50, are too large to ignore as are the people they represent. This exhibit underscores the commitment of First Presbyterian Church to get to know their neighbors and to support the arts.

> The exhibit is free and open to the public.
