Why Do You Walk or Ride A Bike In Durham?

What motivates you to walk or ride a bike instead of driving in Durham? The Durham Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Commission (BPAC) is surveying residents to better understand the motivations of those who opt to walk or take the bike. As a citizen advisory commission, BPAC's role is to advise city and county officials regarding bicycle and pedestrian issues.

By distributing this survey both to city and county residents, BPAC hopes to gather information about resident preferences and motivations around walking and biking, while also gaining perspective on how issues may vary across neighborhoods and regions.

The 2013 Neighborhood Survey is available online at http://tiny.cc/walkbikedurham and will remain open until July 1st.
