Just a quick reminder that the New Belgium Tour de Fat bike/beer festival
will be held this Saturday, June 15th, on the lawn at DPAC. The weather
looks perfect!
More details in the announcement below.
One of the highlights of this event is the selection of a "Trade your car
for a bicycle" winner. Last I heard they were still looking for
candidates for this.

Back by popular demand- the
Tour de Fat is Pedaling it's
way back to Durham. Gather
up your friends, family and
neighbors- you will not want
to miss this! In its the 3rd
year coming to Diamond View
Park at the American Tobacco
Campus this is sure to be our
biggest and best year yet!
The morning kicks off with a
casual bike ride/parade
starting at 11am, with
registration starting at
10am. All skill levels are
welcome and colorful costumes
are encouraged. Donations
from the bike ride benefit
Triangle Spokes Group! Not
a biker? Don't worry- this
event isn't just for the
riders! After the parade,
the park heats up- enjoy live
music, skits, local food and
more! Admission and Hi-5's
are free. All proceeds from
the day stay right here in
the community and benefit 3
local charities - NC Active
Transportation Alliance,
Triangle Spokes Group and
Durham Bike Co-op!
