Helping People with Criminal Backgrounds Find Jobs Benefits All – New “CityLife” Explains
Begins Monday on DTV8 and “On Demand” on YouTube

We all know how tough it can be to find a good job. Now, imagine trying to find steady work if you have a criminal background. The task can be daunting and disheartening.

“CityLife” host Beverly B. Thompson is joined by the Ex-offender Program Coordinator Courtney McCollum, Durham JobLink Ex-Offender Program Graduate Darry Williams, and Measurement Incorporated Human Resources Director Janis Clark to talk about the importance of helping people with criminal backgrounds find employment. DTV8 also visits the Re-entry Navigation Conference and Job Fair and interviews several who participated in the event as well as employers who were hiring.
