We are facing a proposal to build more office buildings at the corner of NC54 and Farrington Road, a corner that already has some of the worse accidents in the area.

The fact that 4 Planning Commission members can vote for this monstrosity says that the Planning Commission is misfiring badly.
More seriously, the Planning Department dismissed a LOT of work the community has done on transportation plans in the area because Council never voted on these plans. These plans include the train routing, the grid plan for the area, and the I40/NC54 corridor.  
The story doesn't mention the cut-through issues that the neighbors are already having.
