Durham Hosts Cankerworm Workshop September 3
Free Workshop to Help Property Owners Protect Their Trees; Registration Required

What:              Free Cankerworm Workshop - Protecting Our Trees Against This Destructive Moth

Who:               City of Durham General Services Department's Urban Forestry Division, Durham County Cooperative Extension, Extension Master Gardner, and Keep Durham Beautiful, Inc.

Fast Facts:
*         Durham residents who have been battling cankerworms, which are pesky little caterpillars growing in number in many Durham neighborhoods, should take note of a workshop that will provide information on how to control these moths. Workshop attendees will also participate in a do-it-yourself session on how to band their trees as well as be provided with take-home materials on how to protect their trees.
