I am writing with some news that I hope you will help me disseminate. The
Durham County Department of Public Health and the Partnership for a Healthy
Durham conduct the community health assessment, a triennial process during
which we go out to the public and collect opinions on community priorities
and health needs. We are in the midst of this survey, and we’d love for
Durham County neighborhoods to know what we’re doing.****

I’ve attached our press release, and a brief description is below.****

Brief description:****

The Durham County Department of Public Health and the Partnership for a
Healthy Durham want to know how you feel about health issues in Durham –
and they just might be coming to your doorstep in the coming weeks.****

The door-to-door community survey visits are part of Durham’s Community
Health Assessment, conducted every three years for public health planning.
During these visits, we ask for community input on health priorities and
collect information on health needs. Surveying will take place over a two
week period from September 25-28, and again from October 4-5, between 10:00
a.m. - 6:00 p.m.****

We will be out surveying in many neighborhoods this Friday and Saturday,
October 4th and 5th. Look for our lime-green t shirts! We want to hear from
you!****
