Here is the OpenDurham listing for the building. Looks like we lost the
historical building here in 1961. I agree that open space next to a thruway
is never going to be usable as "performance space." Central Park is very
nearby.  If they want to "expose" the old courthouse, then sell the lot and
insist that any new building have equal setback and blend in.
