As a ful time pedestrian who does not own avehicle ,my experience has been that open spaces in distressed neighborhoods are the perfect breeding groundd for crime ,prostitution and drug abuse .
I am skeptical and question the validity of any study that may indicate otherwise .
Comunity Ceners make moore sense ..My two cents .

Sell the building and use the proceeds to buy parcels for open space in
distressed neighborhoods that lack it. I can send many studies showing
reductions in crime and health problems with increased open space.
