Text Amendment TC1200013 proposes revisions to the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) regarding wireless communication facilities (WCFs).
   

This text amendment would amend paragraph 5.3.3N and other associated sections to update and reorganize the current standards for WCFs to conform to current state and federal regulations. Additional proposed
 revisions include changes to freestanding concealed WCFs standards, aesthetic standards, and definitions associated with WCFs.

 
This is the second draft based upon the direction staff received from the Joint City-County Planning Committee (JCCPC) at its September 5th meeting. The text of the proposed
 amendments may be viewed at 
http://durhamnc.gov/ich/cb/ccpd/Pages/Text%20Amendments/Pending-Text-Amendments.aspx, and will be reviewed by the JCCPC on December 4th to provide comments and additional policy direction. The JCCPC does not hold public hearings, although its
 meetings are open to the public. No public hearings have been scheduled at this time.
