The Durham City-County Planning Department’s Urban Design Center will host the following
Urban Design Studio focused on redevelopment of two city parking lots along Morgan Street and design options for new city parking structures.
 
Date:                     January 9, 2014

Time:                    6:00 pm

Location:             The Temple Building, 302 West Main Street
 
This studio will provide an opportunity for public input in creating a vision for redevelopment of the public parking lots along the south side of Morgan Street between Mangum Street and Holland Street, and defining
 important design and functional characteristics for possible future parking structures at those sites. The event will engage stakeholders to identify and prioritize goals for redevelopment. The results of the studio will be used to create a plan for new parking
 structures on one or both of these sites.
