City Council Issues Rules of Conduct for People Participating in Marches
People participating in marches in Durham now have rules of conduct that must be followed. City Manager Tom Bonfield outlined the rules in a statement issued by the City Council on February 6. Ninth Street Public Parking Changes Expected to be Approved
The City Council is continuing to help address public parking needs on Ninth Street. During its February 17 meeting, the Council is expected to approve an agreement that will allow it to lease a 46-space surface parking lot at a monthly rate of $6,800. In order to offset the cost of the lease, a fee of $1 per hour will be charged to park in the lot between the hours of 8 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday - Friday.
