Durham Disparity Study Town Hall Meeting May 20

What:              Town Hall Meeting on Equal Access to the City and County of Durham Procurement Processes

Who:               Griffin & Strong, P.C., a consulting firm under contract with the City and County of Durham to review, analyze and suggest improvements for procurement practices with regard to minority and women-owned businesses

When:             Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at 6 p.m.

Fast Facts:
*         Business owners and community members are encouraged to attend this upcoming Town Hall Meeting to share their opinions and experiences as to whether the City of Durham and/or Durham County have provided equal access to their procurement opportunities by minority and women-owned businesses.

*         This meeting will be presided over by Griffin & Strong, P.C., the consulting firm conducting the Joint Disparity Study of the City and County of Durham's contractual awards in construction, goods, services, and architectural and engineering services over the past five years. The purpose of the study is to determine the effectiveness of current programs, and recommend any needed modifications and adjustments.
