Please be advised of the upcoming Durham Planning Commission public hearing
on proposed changes to the text of the Durham Unified Development Ordinance
(UDO):  

 

Text Change TC1400002 is a privately-initiated request to amend Section 9.4,
Project Boundary Buffers, to reduce the required project boundary buffer
only for properties of four acres or less, zoned Industrial Light (IL), and
adjacent to developed properties without a buffer in the Industrial (I)
zoning district. The amendment would reduce a potential 100% buffer opacity
to 40% opacity, with a corresponding reduction to the buffer width.

 

The Durham Planning Commission will hold the public hearing on Tuesday,
September 9, 2014, at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at 101 City
Hall Plaza, 1st Floor.
