I skipped September and October.
Here are the ones that came in November and December.
A letter came updating information on the rezoning at the corner of 751 and 54, re-developing the office buildings across from the 751 side-entrance to the Harris-Teeter shopping center. They have more floor space than originally figured, so instead of going from office to Commercial Neighborhood (smallest shopping), they want to go to Commercial General (i.e. the next notch bigger).
The December 1st City Council meeting heard these proposalsThe Waffle House on NC55, just south of Carpenter-Fletcher, wants to go from Office to Commercial Neighborhood, matching the rest along that side of the road.Grandlin Trace at Grandale and Barbee, from rural to planned residential development with some rural left (to control protest petitions??). I think the issue here was the road improvements, or lack thereof.Erwin Road at Lasalle, from Urban to Compact Tier mixed use (which has affects on open space, types of buildings, etc. to go with the future transit stop?).
Neighborhood meeting on December 4th around Leesville Road and Blue Hill Lane.
The County Commissioners dealt with a street renaming of a little street off NC55 near Hopson from Strategic to Global Montessori.
The December 15th City Council meeting will hear:Massey's Chapel from rural (county) to rural (?) -- this is on the east side of Fayetteville across from where Massey Chapel comes in from the west.Ravenstone Extension -- irregularly shaped piece along Hiddenbrook Drive, off Sherron Road -- from rural and suburban residential (County) to rural residential (city)
The December 16th BOA will hear:A house at the corner of Worth and Belt St, just across from Golden Belt, for a variance to get a smaller front yardUnique Hullet, at 300 Newsom Street, wants a variance to have a fence higher than 4 feetWeldon Donws homeowners also want a variance to get a fence higher than 4 feet. They are on Hope Valley Road, a little north of Woodcroft.
