[Durham INC] Fwd: WCF Revisions

Good turn out, good participation and good result last night.

The Planning Commission recommended to elected officials that the WCF revisions that staff put forward be enacted -- with one change regarding cell tower height in rural residential areas in the suburban tier that the INC zoning committee continues to advocate around.

As we head down the home stretch, I’d like to reiterate thanks to elected officials, planning commission members, planning staff, INC participants and others that have traveled the journey together so far and brought many divergent views together in an area froaught  with complexity, technicality, competing interests and a very shared desired to see change.

Whether or not the change INC continues to advocate for will be enacted is a policy issue that elected officials must decide. Your continued support in that regard is appreciated!
