Residents and Businesses Along Fayetteville Street Learn About Street Reconfiguration Project
Residents and business owners along Fayetteville Street are learning more about an upcoming street reconfiguration project. The area from Pilot Street to George Street will be impacted in 2016 by the work. The project is expected to improve safety and maintain traffic flow along the corridor.


More Progress Made in Addressing Durham's Failed and Struggling Developments
As of February 2015, 62 projects or phases fell under the struggling or failed development categories, no new developments have been added since last March, and three developments have been successfully completed during the past year.

City Continues to Demonstrate Efficient Use of Street Repaving Funds
The NCDOT will be repaving the state-maintained section of Guess Road this spring. To take advantage of NCDOT's cost savings, the City-maintained section will also be included. The City will pay $195,000 to NCDOT for repaving the section from Broad Street to West Club Boulevard.



City Releases Second Quarter Financial Report
The City's Second Quarter Financial Report shows that all departments are projected to end the year within budget. The report indicates that departments will spend $2.5 million less than budgeted.
