GoTriangle to Give Public Presentation on Proposed Light Rail Route
GoTriangle will give a public presentation on the proposed route from Ninth Street to Alston Avenue on Saturday, June 6 from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. at the John Avery Boys and Girls Club on East Pettigrew Street.

Compact Neighborhood Planning Community Meetings Set for June
The Durham City-County Planning Department wants to hear what residents think about the future of compact neighborhoods near planned rail transit stations in Durham. To help gather as much public feedback as possible, a series of five community meetings will be held throughout the summer.


Significant Sidewalk Repair Project to Improve Three Durham Streets
A significant sidewalk repair project to improve three Durham streets is moving forward. The City Council approved a $724,578 contract for improvements along Ashe Street, Guthrie Avenue, and Buchanan Boulevard.

Solid Waste Appreciation Day June 17
The City is inviting all residents to mark Solid Waste Management Appreciation Day on June 17. This day has been set aside to thank the men and women who work every day to keep Durham's neighborhoods and streets clean.
