NCWorks Career Centers of Durham Begin New Operating Hours July 1

DURHAM, N.C. - Jobseekers hoping to connect with employers will soon get extended customer service times thanks to new operating hours at the NCWorks Career Centers of Durham<http://durhamnc.gov/ich/cb/oewd/Pages/NCWorks_Career_Center.aspx>.

Effective July 1, 2015, both Durham centers will provide even more services geared to connecting jobseekers and businesses, with Mondays through Thursdays to include extended one-on-one customer service times for jobseekers as well as on-site recruitment events supporting various businesses on Friday mornings.

In addition, the centers will begin closing at 1 p.m. on Fridays to allow for staff trainings and team meetings to help proactively plan for ways to help jobseekers. The new hours of operation for both centers will be as follows:

NCWorks Career Center at 1105 S. Briggs Ave.
*         Monday through Thursday: 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
*         Second & Third Wednesday: 8:30 a.m. - 7 p.m.* (*must pre-register for evening events)
*         Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.

NCWorks Career Center at Northgate Mall, 1058 W. Club Blvd., Suite 848
*         Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
*         Wednesday: 8:30 a.m. - 7 p.m.
*         Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
