I am mighty tired (and clearly opposed) to constant beseechings to abrogate
environmental standards for urban development. There is a darned good reason
these things are established - including our food chain/web and water
quality preservation/flooding issues, looking only at direct self-interest
considerations. I'd hope that our elected reprentatives would have a healty
appreciation of these things as well, and act accordingly

and not have to
be lobbied by their constituencies about common-sense matters every five
minutes. Maybe I'm being naïve
.

Subject: [Durham INC] FW: Notice for TC1500003 and TC1500004

These go to governing bodies in early August (BOCC on Aug 10, City Council
on Aug 3).

The first revises how bonuses are done for affordable housing and let the
buildings be higher, etc.

The second allows messing up riparian setbacks to build outside it.
