Note that the Science District is currently would not apply inside the city, so there wouldn't be "science park" (i.e. some place with all kinds of flexibility for the developer and no requirement to have any science) near downtown, for example.  However, it could show up in many parts of northern and southern Durham County.
 It is far too late to do an INC resolution on this, but it sounds like individuals and perhaps neighborhoods need to send the members of the Board of County Commissioners an e-mail that we are alarmed that the Science District as currently written would let a developer put pretty much anything they want anywhere they want outside the city.
