Phase One of Durham Innovation District to Receive Incentives
Phase One of the Durham Innovation District located near Durham Central Park will be receiving incentives<http://www.durhamnc.gov/agendas_new/2015/cm20150921/10681_MEMO_DEVELOPMENT_INCENTIVE_AGR_376833_660954.PDF> from the City once it's completed. The City Council approved a total payment of $5.2 million over 15 years.

City Takes Next Step in Creating Open Data Platform
The City is taking the next step in creating an Open Data Platform<http://www.durhamnc.gov/agendas_new/2015/cm20150921/10684_MEMO_OPENDATASOFT_PLATFORM_376799_658485.PDF> geared toward supporting economic development opportunities, internal efficiency, and community development efforts. The City and County will pay $90,000 over a two-year period to share data between the governments and with internal and external users.

Two stream relocation projects are set to move forward.
