[Durham INC] Vote today (to 7:30 pm), key elimination round (on ballot name) for city council candidates

Also noted, some people on-list have updated that polls should be open until
7:30 pm, for those that need to make it out later in the session to vote.

One update: there is a write-in option for this and the upcoming general
election, for anyone not printed on the ballot(s). There are also two other
printed names on today's ballot apart from the list below, so please
consider it a partial posting of the voting possibilities you may make when
you go to vote.

PM (if in line at 7, you will get to vote)

 

If you support someone for the city council, you may want to vote in today's
primary NOW to help them get through to the final/general vote. (You can
vote for UP TO 3 each in primary & general). 

There may be curbside voting for disabled/elderly in some neighborhoods -
check with your polling place - if you need help or want to help someone
else.

P.S. -- A debate AFTER the primary narrowing the council field will take
place: 

 

City Hall Chambers on Weds. Oct. 14th, 2015 and will be on DTN, live. 

Closed caption will be paid for by the Chamber of Commerce.

Doors will open at 6:30 PM

Candidates introduced and rules explained at 6:45 PM.  Forum begins at 7 PM
over at 9 PM

DeWarren K. Langley will be moderator.

DeWarren is the Chair of the Citizens' Advisory Committee, Vice Chair
Civilian Police Review Board, Vice Chair Juvenile Crime Prevention Council,
past co-facilitator PAC-3 and other civic organizations
