[Durham INC] power of community gardens - your thoughts?

	  Dear Durhamites:  I've lived in Durham since 1996, but new to the listserv.

Would like to know your views on pros/cons of community gardens. I'm familiar with SEEDS, but do not know how many are in other parts of town.

In particular, I seek your reaction to this blog post:

Full disclosure: I'm helping to manage this blog as part of my work at UNC-CH.  I think many folks with some kind of connection to neighborhood change/redevelopment, and how gardens or other community-building things fit in, could offer some nice thoughts.
