Creek Week Celebration, 1-4 pm at Forest Hills Park,  1639 University Dr., Durham, NC 27707

Festivities include:
Litter Beats: Join Hip Hop artist, professor and dad, Pierce Freelon<http://www.beatmakinglab.com/pierce-freelon-professormc/> for a beat making session with
up-cycled trash and other improvised instruments. (1-2pm)
Geocaching: Explore the Urban Wild hand-on nature activities (2-4pm).
Puppet Theater(3:30-4pm).

Creek Week Passport Drawing at 4pm.

Creek Week, a part of Keep America Beautiful’s Great American Cleanup, is a week-long celebration of our creeks here in Durham, NC. This year we celebrate the 8th annual Creek Week and will have dozens of opportunities to discover and explore local streams and lakes through educational programs, recreational activities, and volunteer projects.
