Durham, NC - May 26, 2016 - Citizens ready to vote early for the upcoming Primary Election, will have the opportunity Thursday, May 26, 2016 through Saturday, June 4th. The Primary Election Day is on Tuesday, June 7th.
One voting location will be open to early voters in Durham. The early voting location is:

All 17 year old voters who are registered and will be 18 on or before November 8, 2016, may vote in the upcoming election.
In addition to voting early or on Election Day, voters can cast an absentee ballot. The last day to submit an absentee ballot request is Tuesday, May 31. Absentee ballots may be delivered to the Board of Elections office by 5p.m. on Election Day.
The ballot style for voters will depend on party affiliation. To view ballot style options, visit https://www.ncsbe.gov/webapps/voter_search/.
All voters will be voting for Associate Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court. Only Republican voters in the 4th congressional district and those unaffiliated voters choosing a Republican ballot in that district will have a congressional primary.
Effective January 1, 2016, most voters will be required to present a valid identification for the upcoming election. For exceptions to the new voter identification laws, visit the North Carolina State Board of Elections website at http://voterid.nc.gov/exceptions.html.
