Voting for the 2016 Congressional Primary is June 7th
Four Precinct Locations Have Changed.

Durham, NC - June 6, 2016 - Early voting concluded this past weekend with 2,511 total early votes. In less than 24 hours, citizens will have the opportunity to cast their ballots for the 2016 Congressional Primary Election. Tuesday, June 7, 2016, is Election Day and 53 regular Durham County polling locations will be open, from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m., for registered citizens to vote. Four precincts will not be at their regular location, including:
* Precinct 1 WJ Brogden Middle School
Voters will have the choice of voting at either the Durham County Board of Elections, located at 201 N. Roxboro Street, or Club Boulevard Elementary School, located at 400 W. Club Boulevard.
* Precinct 7 Durham School of the Arts
Voters will vote at the Durham County Board of Elections, located at 201 N. Roxboro Street.
* Precinct 20 Durham County Agricultural Building
Voters will vote at the Durham County Board of Elections, located at 201 N. Roxboro Street.
* Precinct 36 Yates Baptist Church
Voters will have the choice of voting at either the Durham County Board of Elections, located at 201 N. Roxboro Street, or Rogers-Herr Middle School, located at 911 W. Cornwallis Road.
Before coming to vote, all citizens should note the following tips:
* Confirm your polling place prior to Election Day.
* Photo identification is required for this election.
* For voters that state they do not have an ID, precinct officials will provide information on how they can obtain one free of charge.
* Local contests on all ballots will include a contest for Associate Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court. Republican and unaffiliated voters (who choose to participate) in the 4th Congressional District will also have a Congressional Primary Contest.

* Polling locations tend to be busiest between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m., during lunch, and 5p.m. until the polls close at 7:30p.m.
