DURHAM ZOMBIE LURCH 10th anniversary extravaganza!

 

KICKOFF PARTY, LURCH & AFTER-PARTY, THIS FRIDAY 4:30 – 8:30

 

ALL REVENANTS WELCOME @ Kickoff Ball (Mummies, Werewolves, Vamps, Skeletons,
Misc. Reanimated/Undead)

 

Spanning downtown and two venues, before and after the stagger; costume
contests & raffle prize(s), ‘live’ music, food truck(s), creepy/magical
vendors, face painting, tarot reading, and other spooky surprises!

 

SPECIAL GUEST: 2016 REIGNING (REVENANT) BEAVER QUEEN ‘BEAVERJUICE’ TO OPEN
LURCH  X

Durham’s Beloved Zombie Lurch rises from the dead to stagger the streets
this Friday night, with spooky surprises a& freaky fun for all ages. 

 

A ‘Revenants’ Ball’ Kickoff party (all types of undead - Mummies,
Werewolves, Vamps and Reanimators invited) will launch the festivities at
the newly renovated Sam’s Quik Shop, 1605 Erwin Rd (near 9th & W Main), from
4:30 – 6:15 pm. 

Free admission/live music with the Cajammers, Kid/Best Revenant costume
contest, and for undead with some green, a raffle, face painting, tarot
reading & vendors with cool creepy/magical lurch merch from Magikcraft &
Little Shop of Horror. 

 

Urban Entrée Food Truck will provide eats – all humans attend at their own
risk!

 

All who bring a food/money donation to the Z.L.U.R.G.H. (Zombie LUrcheRs
Gutting Hunger) PORCH-DURHAM station will receive an ‘I <3 BRAINS’
Sticker/Pin courtesy Duke Neurosciences.

 

Lurch will be ‘slashed’ open by our reigning revenant beaver queen
‘BeaverJuice’ at 6:15 pm, and proceed down Main Street (with surprise
features) to the TERMINAL after-party 7 – 8:30pm at Bull McCabe’s Pub, 427
W. Main. 

 

Free admission/live music with Bull City Brakemen, adult Zombie costume
contests (Group/Theme, Dia dL Muertos, ZomKing/Queen), raffle prize drawing,
vendors, face painters, tarot readers will be on hand here as well, and
Mama’s Hot Chicken Food Truck for the famished. 

 

The 2016 Lurch route is on level pavement suitable to wheeled or little
zombies, and the Free Bull City Connector spans the route for undead to ride
to the terminal party or back to kickoff parking through 9pm.
