If you can't make the city council meeting tonight, you can make your feelings known.

I believe Trinity Park Neighborhood Association wrote a letter roughly along the same lines. It was, however, slightly longer and far more eloquent.

More information, including the Planning Commission's 11-0 recommendation against can be found on the city council agenda materials for tonight.

Best / Thanks, Philip

This is not only environmentally sensitive land, it is directly upstream from the Duke Diet and Fitness Center, where the City is already committed to making a large investment due to water remediation issues caused in large part by impervious surfaces. Why exacerbate the situation and potentially drive up costs?

City Council should reject these applications. Doing so would save residents, staff and council members hundreds of hours a year. Send a message that developers must act on input before filing for re-zonings.
