I'm not sure what they are doing about the additional height near the edges of the compact districts.

Subject: Public Meetings for TC1600005: Compact Neighborhood Affordable Housing Bonuses

The Durham City-County Planning Department is hosting two public meetings about proposed updates to the Unified Development Ordinance regarding Affordable Housing Bonuses in the Compact Neighborhood Tier. This will be an opportunity to learn about the proposed updates and provide input.

This is not a rezoning of property, but an update to the zoning standards already established. The two meetings to be held will cover the same material and are as follows.

Meeting #1
When: Thursday, May 18, 2017
7:00-8:30 PM
(Presentation to begin at 7:15)

Meeting #2
When: Tuesday, June 6, 2017
7:00-8:30 PM
(Presentation to begin at 7:15)

Where: Durham City Hall, Council Chambers
101 City Hall Plaza, Durham, 27701

Parking. On-street parking meters are not enforced after 7:00 pm. The nearest public parking garage is at 326 East Chapel Hill Street.

Public Transit. GoDurham and GoTriangle provide bus service to downtown Durham. Schedules can be viewed at https://gotransitnc.org/.
