Central Park Waterline Replacement Project Update and Two-Week Look Ahead

The City appreciates your ongoing patience with the work along the busy corridors associated with the Central Park Waterline Replacement Project. Planned Road / Lane Closures will occur as follows:

  *   Week of 7/3:
     *   Eastbound lane closed on Fernway Avenue between Morris Street and Fuller Street.
     *   Southbound lane closed at intersection of Fernway Avenue and Morris Street.
  *   Week of 7/10:
     *   Eastbound lane closed on Fernway Avenue between Morris Street and Fuller Street.

Week of July 3, 2017:

  *   No work will take place on July 4th.
  *   Fernway Avenue will be reduced to one lane as waterline installation begins starting at Morris Street.

     *   Traffic control signs and markings will be used for all traffic detours.
     *   Flaggers will be utilized for traffic control.
     *   Noise levels in excess of the current City noise ordinance are anticipated during work hours.
     *   On-street parking will be closed in work areas.
     *   Planned work hours are 7 AM to 6 PM.
     *   No water or sewer service disruptions are anticipated.
  *   Intersection of Fernway Avenue and Morris Street will be reduced to one lane while existing waterline is tapped.
     *   Traffic control signs and markings will be used for all traffic detours.
     *   Flaggers will be utilized for traffic control.
     *   Noise levels in excess of the current City noise ordinance are anticipated during work hours.
     *   On-street parking will be closed in work areas.
     *   Planned work hours are 7 AM to 6 PM.
     *   No water or sewer service disruptions are anticipated.

Saturday - Sunday July 8-9, 2017:

  *   No work planned.  Fernway Avenue will be reduced to one lane.

Week of July 10, 2017:

  *   Fernway Avenue will be reduced to one lane as waterline installation continues.

     *   Traffic control signs and markings will be used for all traffic detours.
     *   Flaggers will be utilized for traffic control.
     *   Noise levels in excess of the current City noise ordinance are anticipated during work hours.
     *   On-street parking will be closed in work areas.
     *   Planned work hours are 7 AM to 6 PM.

Saturday - Sunday July 15-16, 2017:

  *   No work planned.  Fernway Avenue will be reduced to one lane.
