Durham Closes City Government Offices Monday, December 10
Solid Waste Curbside Collections Suspended Due to Icy Road Conditions from Winter Storm Diego

DURHAM, N.C. - On Monday, December 10, Durham City Hall and all other non-emergency City operations will be closed due to continued icy road conditions from Winter Storm Diego.

The City of Durham Solid Waste Management Department has also suspended trash and recycling collections on Monday, December 10 due to conditions on many of the city's secondary and neighborhood streets. A decision on when collections will resume will be made tomorrow and communicated to customers accordingly. The Waste Disposal and Recycling Center (Transfer Station), located at 2115 E.
