[Durham INC] WHHNA handout concerning Expanding Housing Choice initiative

Attached please find WHHNA's handout on this very important proposal to
change the UDO.  It is written for WHH, but it would apply to almost all
urban tier neighborhoods and could be easily adaptable for each.  One
important note - the new rules would not apply to the sizable RS-20-zoned
portion of Forest Hills.  The reasons for this are partly matters of
drafting convenience, but also regulatory.

 

What is being proposed will also seriously upend OWD's NPO unless
adaptations are made.
