Central Park Waterline Replacement Project Update and Two-Week Look Ahead

June 6, 2019

The City appreciates your ongoing patience with the work along the busy corridors associated with the Central Park Waterline Replacement Project. Planned Road / Lane Closures will occur as follows:


  *   Week of 6/10:
     *   Madison Avenue will be closed between Corporation Street and Northwood Circle.*
     *   Northwood Circle will be closed between Madison Avenue and North Street.*
(*Note that work will not occur on Madison Avenue and Northwood Circle at the same time)

     *   Geer Street will be reduced to one lane between Washington Street and Foster Street.
     *   Washington Street between Trinity Avenue and West Corporation Street will be temporarily closed as repaving equipment becomes available.


  *   Week of 6/17:
     *   Madison Avenue will be closed between Corporation Street and Northwood Circle.*
     *   Northwood Circle will be closed between Madison Avenue and North Street.*
(*Note that work will not occur on Madison Avenue and Northwood Circle at the same time)

     *   Geer Street will be reduced to one lane between Washington Street and Foster Street.
     *   Washington Street between Trinity Avenue and West Corporation Street will be temporarily closed as repaving equipment becomes available.

Week of June 10, 2019:


  *   Madison Avenue will be closed as sanitary sewer work continues.

     *   Traffic control signs and markings will be used for all traffic detours.
     *   Sidewalk traffic will be disrupted.
     *   Noise levels in excess of the current City noise ordinance are anticipated during work hours.
     *   On-street parking will be closed in work areas.
     *   Planned work hours are 7 AM to 6 PM.
     *   Residents and business owners will be contacted in advance of any service disruptions.

  *   Northwood Circle will be closed as sanitary sewer work continues.

     *   Traffic control signs and markings will be used for all traffic detours.
     *   Sidewalk traffic will be disrupted.
     *   Noise levels in excess of the current City noise ordinance are anticipated during work hours.
     *   On-street parking will be closed in work areas.
     *   Planned work hours are 7 AM to 6 PM.
