[Durham INC] 70th Annual July 4 Parade

Dear Neighbors:

 

Watts Hillandale and Old West Durham will celebrate Independence Day with
the 70th annual parade.  If your own family and neighborhood events and
activities permit, please join us at the corner of West Club and Oakland
Avenue at around 9:45 on the morning of the Fourth.  We will march at 10
a.m.  After the parade we will recite the Pledge of Allegiance, sing
patriotic songs and have an ice-cold Coke.

 

If we are lucky, the fire department will spray water.  Sometimes kids get
wet.

 

We would love to have you.
