A day to learn and collaborate on how to sustain and steward local land
and water resources.

September 28, 2019
10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Catawba Trail Farm, 2080 Sawmill Parkway, Durham, NC 27712

UCAN, ECWA, and The Conservation Fund are partnering to sponsor a day
filled with educational and experiential activities for the whole family
and community, targeted to East Durham Residents. This event is to build
solidarity around self-reliance and to raise awareness about challenges
and opportunities for land and water stewardship, and natural
resource-based community resiliency strategies. It is an opportunity for
organizations addressing sustainable food systems and urban agriculture,
watershed and stormwater management, environmental stewardship and
advocacy, sustainable landscaping and gardening, natural history and
indigenous traditions share local resources for self-reliance.
