Details: 

The Inter Neighborhood Council of Durham is sponsoring a Candidates Debate on October 17th (Thursday) from 18:30 to 20:30, at the City Council Chambers. This debate will involve those candidates for City Council who are finalists from the primary of October 8th. 

The Forum will have media coverage that is extensive. There will be LIVE TV broadcast on FOUR channels of TV providers (Spectrum channel 8, AT&T U-verse channel 99, Frontier channel 70 and Google Fiber channel 8). It will also be available on the City’s YouTube channel afterwards. Closed captioning will be provided during the live broadcast on public access channels. 

Candidates will have an opportunity to face other contenders and they can make their respective case to a broad audience. The election of November 5th will elect three members out of six to the City Council. Significant decisions have been taken in Durham on votes split 4/3. During the Forum, three of those decision makers will be available to answer questions. 

The audience can suggest questions at a desk available at the entrance of the Chambers. Please attend and learn in depth about those who hope to represent YOUR interests in the Bull City's future!
