There is no voting tomorrow. Turn-out will be light, but you know you always wanted to be in the exclusive club!

  * Where and when to vote: http://www.dcovotes.com/home/showdocument?id=28655 -- in short, North and South Libraries, NCCU and downtown at the Criminal Justice Resource Center (the Board of Elections building is being re-done), 8:30-6:00 on weekdays with some weekend voting.
  * If you can't make it today, go to your precinct to vote on Tuesday.
  * There is no last-Saturday voting -- if you like to procrastinate, stop it sooner (-:
  * You'll see signs reminding folks that voter ID is coming next year, but you don't need an ID this year (with the exception of a few first-time voters for whom something funky happened with their registration)
  * The big gray boxes where you put your ballot to be counted have been replaced by new machines. Election workers have already been told enough times that the new machines look like garbage cans, OK?
  * As usual, you can check the accuracy of your registration, find out where you vote (some precincts have new sites), see a sample ballot, and so on at https://vt.ncsbe.gov/RegLkup/
  * If you live in the city of Durham, your ballot has 2 candidate for mayor, 6 candidates for 3 slots on City Council, and the affordable housing bond. If you live in Chapel Hill, you also are voting on municipal elections. If you don't live in a city, you don't have anything to vote on. If you want information on the candidates: https://ballotpedia.org/City_elections_in_Durham,_North_Carolina_(2019)
  * Cell phones are now pretty much OK as long as you aren't talking on them or taking pictures (the point being to keep you from being unduly influenced in your voting), so you should be able to bring in. your voting notes.
