Posting as a precaution and in spirit of help to anyone who finds the
information useful. New study just out wherein Covid-19 survives up to 17
days on surfaces. (Still no data yet on transmission from surface v.
person-to-person, but BBC overnight news had doctor/public health
professional that cautioned we have *no* evidence-based information on this
route of transmission (possible or not and how high a chance if it is)). Her
walk through for elders going shopping to do so safely was eye-opening, and
very detailed/complex. CDC shows what things will kill it on surfaces and
how to apply it and for how long, you can visit their site for more details.
