Webinars: Biking and Walking Changes in the Next Phase of COVID-19 and
Beyond

Bike Durham is hosting four webinars over the next three Wednesdays
exploring how biking and walking will change in the coming weeks and
years.

We start tomorrow, May 13th at 7pm with a guide to how you can start biking
to work (whether you’re an essential worker and going in now, or thinking
ahead to a return to the workplace) from experienced bike commuters Camren
Kuan and Tyler Dewey. Register now <https://forms.gle/8tUEG1Xat1S36gt49>.

Next Wednesday, May 20th, we have a mid-day tutorial with our own Board
member, Shaun King, on using Ride With GPS, the fun new app we’ve used to
create rides for you to follow this month. Register now
<https://forms.gle/LGeJAzsjRgdAsTmr8>.

That evening at 7pm, we have a panel discussion that you won’t want to miss
about how travel has changed for residents across Durham with Aidil Ortiz,
and how cities across North America have responded to make walking and
biking safer with Dr. Tabitha Combs, and a special focus on Oakland’s Slow
Streets program with Warren Logan, the Policy Director of Mobility and
Inter Agency Relations for the Office of the Mayor in Oakland. Register now

The following Wednesday, May 27th at 7pm, you have an opportunity to hear
