Beaver Queen Pageant Talent and Q&A Episodes Premiering This Weekend!

This weekend is a big weekend for the  <https://cts.vresp.com/c/?EllerbeCreekWatershe/4f3c6591e9/3ae391cef7/3f3e13d11f> 16th Annual Beaver Queen Pageant, Beavers in the Stream! The Talent Episode will be premiering this Saturday, June 6th and the Question & Answer Episode will be premiering this Sunday, June 7th, both at 6pm. They will also be premiering on ECWA's and The Lodge's Facebook and IGTV accounts.

 

Here are some things you can do to prepare:

 

1. Get caught up. 2. Organize a watch party. Who do you usually head to the Duke Park meadow with on the furrrrst Saturday in June? Which of your out of town friends have you always wished could be at this "you'd have to see it to believe it" event? Use your favorite virtual gathering platform to watch this weekend's episodes together. Don't forget to dress up!

Share our social media posts with the hashtag #BQP2020. Keep an eye out for some of our social media challenges: Best homemade tail, best homemade teeth, best past costume in the meadow, etc. There will be Peace, Love, Beaver prizes!

 

4. Vote. The Beaver Queen Pageant is the Ellerbe Creek Watershed Association <https://cts.vresp.com/c/?EllerbeCreekWatershe/4f3c6591e9/3ae391cef7/29ba690aaf> 's biggest fundraiser of the year. Remember a vote for a contestant is also a vote for cleaner water and green open space in downtown Durham.
