BOCC to Hold September 8th Work Session Virtually

Residents Can Access Tuesday Meeting Online

Durham, N.C. - Due to the ongoing social distancing restrictions in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Durham Board of County Commissioners will continue to hold its meetings virtually. The next Work Session to be held this way will be at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2020. The session is on Tuesday instead of the regular first Monday of the month due to County offices being closed for the Labor Day holiday.

The virtual option aligns with social distancing requirements which ensure the safety of citizens who wish to participate as well as Board members and Durham County Government staff. Citizens who wish to view the BOCC meeting can watch live on the County's YouTube channel<http://www.youtube.com/dcowebmaster>.

Residents wishing to submit citizen comments or to comment regarding agenda items should email them to the Clerk to the Board at mtoomer at dconc.gov<mailto:mtoomer at dconc.gov>. Comments must be submitted by 12 p.m. on Monday, September 7.
