[Durham INC] Space for study: Daytime workspace for grades 2 - 12 with Durm School for Ballet & Performing Arts on Duke/Minerva

Adding some additional information about permitting related to the space available, for those who may want to know it. 

“We have a city issued temporary use permit to use the studio as a day camp and have to adhere to the NC DHHS Interim Guidance for Day Camp or Program Settings Serving Children and Teens (August 27, 2020).  We are the only community business who applied and was issued a permit.”

Durham School of Ballet & the Performing Arts Presents: Student Workspace – A space for students to work on academics during school hours

 

Full-Day or Half-Day Mornings, Grades 2 – 8

Half-Day Afternoons, High School Students

Student Workspace now OPEN for 2nd grade through High School 

 

Students will work in a supervised setting as well as participate in some enrichment activities. Students will practice social distancing and all safety protocols already in place at the studio. 

 

Students would provide their own materials and devices needed for the school day, including lunch, snacks and water bottle. 

 

FULL DAY 8:30a-3:30p (MAX 9) students. Grades 2 - 8* 

HALF Day AM 9a-12:30p (MAX 6) Grades 2 - 8* High School PM 

HALF Day 1p-4:30p (MAX 6) Grades 9 - 12  

Full Day $185 / Half Day $105

 

In accordance with guidelines, students are asked to commit to 2 consecutive weeks  minimum so we can protect the health and well-being of staff and participants.  Masks are required
