*Why does it Matter*:  this proposes a significant change to how
development can occur in Durham by establishing the use of Statutory
Development Agreements.

that City Council just added a new Councilmember on September 8th who may
not have received any of your earlier correspondence.  For this reason,
please consider contacting City Council again, so that each voting Member
of Council can have the benefit of your voice.

Hello Council members,

I encourage each of you to vote no on item TC2000003, which comes before
the Council on Monday night 9/21.  Durham's UDO has never allowed for
certain property developers to have one set of rules, and for the rest of
us to have another. I think we can build more housing in Durham without
casting aside the principles of equity and good government, as this
amendment would do.

The Planning Commission's 10 to 3 vote recommending against this proposed
UDO amendment also speaks clearly about what the right choice is on this
matter.
