[Durham INC] Nat White, Jr.

Recently we were all saddened to learn of the death of Nat White, one the
very first African-Americans admitted to Duke University.  What you may not
know that in INC's early days, Nat was a neighborhood leader and delegate to
INC for Old North Durham.  He was a man of great passion and a constant
source of ideas.  In Nat's company there was no idle thinking or throwaway
conversation.  Without INC, I wonder whether I would have known Nat White
personally as a friend.  I am glad the INC was the platform where I met Nat
and where I have met so many other fine people, including you all.
