Thanks, Mimi.
Labor Day weekend is a good time to check your registration at https://vt.ncsbe.gov/RegLkup/
Voter Search - NCSBE<https://vt.ncsbe.gov/RegLkup/>
Search for voter details, including jurisdictions, polling place, sample ballot when available, absentee ballot information, and voter history.
vt.ncsbe.gov
Even if you have been registered for 60 years, it is a good idea to check your registration since mistakes can happen (very few, but a big deal if you are the one it happens to (-:) as they update the database of voters.
Regards, pat

Subject: [Durham INC] 2021 Durham Municipal Elections - please vote in both the primary and the final elections
******PLEASE CROSS POST*******
The 2021 Durham Municipal Elections include a Primary Election on October 5 and the Election on November 2. We are electing our Mayor and three City Council Members. This article<https://indyweek.com/news/durham/here-s-who-s-running-for-durham-mayor-and-city-council/> has a list of the candidates.
Candidates for City Council have filed for election in the ward of their residence. City voters will have all candidates for City Council on their ballots. The Primary Election will include the race for Mayor as well as City Council races for Ward 1 and for Ward 2. The two top vote-getters in each of these races will move on to the Election in November. Because two candidates filed for City Council in Ward 3, these candidates automatically move on to the Election in November.
